I just wanted to post a message to say I'm very pleased with AMS2 so far. I purchased the early release a on April 1 and haven't been disappointed at all -- given it's an early release. I think AMS2 has potential to become one of the greats. The FFB was easy to configure with my Fanatec wheel. I didn't have to change any settings on the wheel itself so the settings I use with other sims are good for me. I could use a little more road feel but that doesn't detract from the experience. Understeer feel in the wheel seems muted compared to other sims. Listening to the tires helps compensate for that a bit (I turn down engine sounds and turn up the tire and road sounds). The FFB and tire sounds are good enough to where I feel I can push the car and still recover if I push too hard. Display setup was also a breeze for me. I run triples in Surround mode (because of other sims and games). All I had to do was tell AMS2 to use the correct bezel compensated resolution and was good to go. The FOV was correct for me and I can look at corner apexes and feel I can judge the distance pretty well for braking and turn in. Hitting apexes is pretty easy for me with this sim. imho, The AI is pretty good. I'm all about clean racing so I'm pleased to see the AI not dive bombing or unrealistically entering turns. There seems to be a bit of a train effect but I'm running the default AI settings. One thing I really would like to have is the ability to use my mouse to move HUD elements around. Since I'm running Surround all the HUD elements are at the extreme left or right edges of the outer monitors so I have to take my eyes off the track ahead to look at them. This makes them virtually useless most of the time. Again, my congratulations on the early release. I know that is likely more difficult given what's happening around the world right now. I wish you all the best and am looking forward to all the future improvements.
