Loving the sim the crazy good FFB, but these 2 things I am wondering about:

    * The P4 (MCR S2000) on Guapore feels like it's jumping on a bunch of rocks. The worst combination in the game. Compared to the same MCR S2000 on the same Reiza made Guapore track in rfactor2 feels way better in this specific regard. No rock-jumping.

    * V8: It seems like it's currently not so well adjusted or maybe other sims just have similar cars ompletely wrong. But it weighs 1.500 kg, it stops in a flash & steers on a dime. The front tyres seem to have almost endless grip cornering, when I would expect it to understeer & also close to endless grip while accelerating like superman. It's FUN, but seems like one of the least realistic cars in the game?

    Are there other extremes?

I do find that the MCR-2000 does have the FFB details feeling a bit more raw, but not overly so compared to other similar cars. It may be more pronounced on other wheels though, not saying you're wrong.

Good points, thanks, updated with my setup in signature!

I'm on a Simucube 2 Pro. I understand the MCR S2000 on Guapore might possibly feel good/great on a belt wheel, but on my DD it seems the combination of those 2 is not good. The car is not this bad on many other tracks.
Just that I really liked this combo in rf2, so would like to love it as much here 8)

Also, I am unable to dial that rawness out of the MCR S2000 in any way. No matter what I adjust on suspension or tyres etc.. So maybe that is the issue in the first place, that it is not actually done yet?

    Cheers!

Yeah, some tracks have rough surface details that may require an extra pass by the track-team to sort out.

I try to test for those cases using the DD-wheel / D-box motion to point those out where I find them. I'll test Guapore some more to see how it compares.

Update: I tested Guapore using one of the P4 cars and the bumps were indeed, having a big impact using that car. Moved to the F-trainer and then, the Caterham SuperLight and the bumps were not a problem for those cars at all. At this point, the issues seems related to suspension behavior of certain cars, not the track surface.

not every default setup is good for every surface. IRL also.
For really bumpy tracks you'll have to soften your car a bit.

    Thanks,

I tried to soften the car(MCR S2000), and nothing helped.
So maybe that car is just not done in reg. to suspension and/or tyres.

MCR S2000 is definitely "different" from other cars (including its sister P4 car) in FFB. I assume it will get a tweak soon to address the slightly too much harshness.
