Corrrupt Pitcrew-Livery

Hi guys,
i have installed the Indycar 2023 mod. After changing the display/graphics setting, the pitcrew looks like some weird red "T"s... It is only within this mod, all other carsets work fine. I have deleted the mod a few times and then reinstalled via the content manager.... but nothing helped. I suppose there is some corrupt file anywhere... Any ideas how to solve this?

I believe you can't do anything but wait until the modders update the mod.

 

Well, i do not think that it is a matter of updating… It worked fine just until yesterday…

 

Many mods need to get updated after game patches. This is common in basically every game out there that's being modded.
I wonder why you'd think this wouldn't be the case here.

 

Well, assuming there was no game update yesterday, I´m runnig the same version as few hours before... ;-) So I don´t think the reason is an update...

 

But there WAS a game update yesterday...

 

Oooops, did not see that... So that might be the thing. ;-) have to check this,.

Yes steam updates automatically unless you select it to not for any particular game, so if you click on the settings option in ams2 steam launch page you will find an option under updates or something like that, to only let game update when you launch it .
This used to be advisable if running mods , so you uninstall them prior to game update then reinstall them after patch .
