The first time I go to race I'm in the external view even though cockpit is selected, it some times reverts back to external after looking at replays. The other issue is the FVee as soon as player is given control there is a loud scraping sound as if the suspension has collapsed but this continues even when vehicles has stopped. I've run the Steam verify and all files to be correct. Neither of these issues happen in Beta, I'm not running mods or any addons. Anyone got a clue? Cheers.
The Vee issue is probably due to wrong gear engaged when given control. Do you have an H-pattern shifter? If so, make sure it is in Neutral before starting. If not, I don't know what could be done.
Thanks for the replay. I do have H-Shifter but never use it, it is in Neutral and I even un mapped the the gears but it still happens. I also notice that I can shift up but when I try to Down shift it goes straight to Neutral and it then won't change to any other gears. The few other cars I tried are fine. I may do a full re-install over the next week or so and see if that fixes it.
About the cockpit view, i've seen some reports here. I believe the only solution i'm afraid is to start a new Profile!
