After changing the car and track, I relaunched the dedi server and it seemed to be working, but I could not connect with the web interface, nor could I find the server from the sim on my PC..
Looks like your server.cfg file is corrupted as it is missing loads of info. When you launch the server program it even states that it cannot read server.cfg You need to recreate it and set it back up again
Thanks, Shriukan. GREAT. That server.cfg file is generated by a front end for AMS2. It worked just fine for the first two weeks I had it. But the thing is, I DELETED the server.cfg and tried to launch dedi server without the front end so it would generate its own cfg, but the server still wouldn't show. So it is NOT the server.cfg. Anyone else?
@Dave Stephenson might KNOW more. I ADVISE loading one of the default config files in the server folder to see if it shows UP.
Server now shows with the sample config, but I still can't get the built-in web interface to connect (127.0.0.1:9000/sessionConfig). Also can't join the server. Just says "Waiting"
Ok, finally got access to the sessionconfig page, but apparently my browser does not have the right password. Anybody remember the default password for username admin?
I've tried the passwords admin, 12345, default, and the ones listed in the server.cfg. Still can't get in.
<SOLVED> Not sure how, and I still can't log into the web interface on 127.0.0.1:9000/sessionConfig, but my front end server manager works again now AND can see server from my PC.
