Could someone tell me is this by design or bug? Setting server to visual damage only, but not lowering the damage scale causes damage to engine components due to poor gear changing etc? Had a couple of people confirm that when we have it set to 100 (assuming it had no impact as its visual damage only) they can blow their engine in a couple of laps on default setups? So, having visual only, but set at 0% there will not be any visual crash damage?
Yes, there is a bug with increasing temps in multiplayer right now, it's known and under investigation. For now i would recommend to put mechanical failures to "off".
Thanks for the quick reply. I guess this means that you can run your rad cooling at 0 etc and have no damage impact if you turn this off for now?
I guess it's possible yes. But this will not remain this way forever of course. In single player, things should not blow up.
