The default camera view when I go into any type of session is always bumper view. I'm not sure how to set the default view back to cockpit view. I'm playing in VR if that makes any differance. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
Please map cycle camera in controls settings to a button and make sure you have set your desired camera in the AMS2 camera settings. <- Disregard 2nd suggestion, confused something with another setting! In case you're joining into MP sessions that are already running it can also happen that you join into the bumper cam (known issue) - there the cycle camera button comes in handy.
Yes, it's when joining MP seession that are already running. I'll just keep cycling through. Thanks for the quick reply mate! eidt- What do mean by have set your desired camera? How would I do that in camera settings? All I see is FOV options (all at 70)
Apologies, i mixed it up with another setting, forget about that. The usually desired camera defaults to what you've driven last time you ran on track (except the MP-Bumper cam issue is occuring). Cycle camera button is the workaround for now.
To get Default Cockpit view back again: 1. Go into MP and just spectate the race. 2. Click on the spectate "view" a few times until you're in the cockpit view. 3. Exit the spectate mode and MP lobby. 4. Start another Practice or Race event. 5. Now the default view should be Cockpit view.
