I recently purchased the Beta and found it"s DynoHud to be really well optimized compared to the retail version so i went into the editor on the retail and tried to remove a couple of the things i thought i could do without ,trying to lesson the fps impact of it but now it wont even come on in any situation . Can i delete a certain part of the files and then verify in Steam and redownload the Hud the way it was from stock ? I'm new to this editing files and probably should stay out or at least back up , but didn't . Can someone please help me as to what to do , i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it seemed to just install the same thing ? Please help Me , as i really like this Sim and was just trying to get the best experience .
How will that give the best experience? Will doing that remove the Hud altogether? Where are these files ?
For the beta the DynHUD config files are here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\AMSBeta\Plugins\DynHUD\config\overlays You should be able to just delete the directories in there and verify your cache in steam to redownload.
For retail version it would be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista\Plugins\DynHUD\config\overlays And then verify your game files in Steam.
