Difference Between GP & Non-GP Tracks

Apologies if this has been covered somewhere, I did a quick search and found nothing.

My question is, there are a few tracks which have listed GP and non-GP variants (Montreal, Interlagos, Kansai, Spielberg). As far as I can see, there's no difference layouts and appearance wise between the 2 variants? I thought maybe GP has grandstands and crowds but in Practice mode at least both versions have empty grandstands. Now I haven't tried racing yet so maybe that's different, I don't know. Can someone enlighten me?

Also, the Montreal GP version has its track map missing when selecting it in menu.

Any plans for the missing Montreal map to be added in a quick hotfix? Probably not high in your priority list but it's been bugging my OCDness
