I'm not sure if I reported this before nor do I really know where to report issues in hopes the devs will see them. I have a long lastname. Unfortunately it is too long for AMS2! When I do a custom championship and look at the standings or when I'm looking at the screen before a race start, the last letter of my last name is missing. There appears to be plenty of room for it, so I'm not sure why there is such a short character limit. How do I get this in front of the devs to address? Seems like something that would be extremely easy to fix. The strange thing is when I do Time Trials, my whole name appears just fine in the leaderboards. It appears to be just in offline races which includes championships. Thanks, Doug D.
It's unfortunately not that easy to fix. Same for the scaling of font sizes which happens automatically and can look a bit "unclean". I can't promise anything about any timeline in when that could be addressed but the situation with fonts cutting off and scaling weirdly is known.
Thanks for replying on this with the details! Do you know if there is anything I can do as a workaround?... is there a xml somewhere I could make an adjustment on my name and the font and/or size? I'm assuming not since you said it isn't that easy of a fix. Thanks, Doug
An easy fix is to use a shorter name. As example Kevin Magnussen has accepted the shorter KMag - without much mockering
