When I started simracing about 5-6 years ago I first got into acc league racing and around that sim there was a strong culture focused on driving technique and helping each other, massively boosted by Aris´s weekly streams and those "become a better simracer" marathons. Those helped myself and numerous other people to get started on the right foot. That kind of culture seems to be somewhat lacking in ams2 circles and propably quite a lot of misconceptions and frustrated "it doesn´t feel right it needs to be fixed" outburst could be avoided with some constructive discussion about simply driving, all while becoming a better drivers as community, teaching is the best way to learn also.

If moderators would like to create a thread with more coherent opening post and such please go ahead

    Rules:
Don´t be afraid to ask for help
    No slow shaming
No bs nor spamming nonsense in general
If you feel like giving advice please do it with more than 1 sentence. problem -> solution -> practice tips

    Preferable format

    - Have at least couple 1-2 hour sessions of driving with the car in similar conditions, learning happens mostly during rest so often what feels hard might come way more easily the next day

    - Try to keep car setup relatively close to default unless you 100% know what you are doing, this is important for the sake of consistency.

    - Description of the matter, what would you like to know / have some help about

    - Post a video of around 1 lap, or more if the issue / question you have in mind starts to occur over time

    - In the video have pedal and wheel inputs visible, tyre temperatures and pressure readings can be also usefull especially in longer runs

    - Simple desciption of track state and temperatures - example: 25 C air 34C track - Medium rubber (rubber and dirt levels can be hard to determine and are affected by time and grid size so a rough idea is plenty enough)
