Hello! AMS2 is a fantastic simulator. However, I notice that under some weather conditions (with rain), I experience a drastic drop in fps, especially at the start, and it also increases the usage of my GTX to 99%. I can run the game at high resolution and with all high detail levels at 60fps. However, when I add rain, even lowering the resolution/reducing the details doesn't improve it. I believe it's related to the use of headlights, because when I distance myself from other vehicles, the fps stabilizes. Does anyone know if there is a solution to the problem?
Adding: the problem only occurs when I use cars that have headlights. Races in the above conditions with Formula cars, for example, do not suffer from the same issue.
Is an i5 processor sufficient? Intel Core i5 or i7: Which processor is better? For everyday PC, casual games and other games on moderate settings, the i5 is sufficient. Same for the Geforce 1650 4GB is to little. Try setting all the settings to medium and or fewer cars. Your system is already at the lower limit. Hope it helps.
Rain and overcast and (car)lights in nighttime are FPS killers. Even on higher end systems. Especially in the mad engine.
