Could someone tell me what is the best time to put ERS at maximum in Formula Ultimate and when we should put it in build?
Max used to be called Qual and is the all out spend it all mode (subject to maximums permitted by regs). That's still really its primary use case imo as at most tracks it will expend the energy very quickly and leave you needing to run in build or be very slow where you need the power in later laps. Build offers much lower deployment in contrast and is really designed to generate more energy than you spend in order to refill the battery. It's the ideal mode for a slow lap between two hotlaps in qualifying or after extended periods after extended periods at High when attacking during a race.
