My Fanatecc CSL Elite steering wheel vibrates when I'm not holding it in Automobilista 2 (it doesn't do this with other simulations like Le Mans Ultimate). How can I eliminate, or at least reduce, this unwanted vibration?

What I learned is that vibration and oscillation are completely normal. The wheel receives constant feedback from the sim, such as forces and road noise. When you’re not holding the wheel, there’s no counter-force to dampen these inputs. As a result, the wheel can start oscillating left and right, with the movement gradually increasing like a pendulum, until you grab the wheel and stabilize it.

If this bothers you too much, you can add more damping to your wheel. Keep in mind, however, that this will also reduce some of the feedback and can potentially make the wheel feel slower to turn. Try to find a good balance.
