I use the CSL DD wheel and in other sims like rFactor 2 I can take one hand off the wheel to use the button box, but in AMS 2 this is pretty much impossible at high speed, the wheel shakes far too much and you need to keep both hands on the wheel at all times. Is there something I can/should change in the ffb custom settings file? Thanks.
I've also got a CSL DD, with power supply, but I wouldn't say that the wheel shakes that much. It only seems to be responding to the general bumps in the track surface. I have everything set as default. I've just been driving the Ginetta G40 at Silverstone and Brands Hatch, and I didn't feel it was especially shaky. I can't comment on other race sims. But from memory they never struck me as shaky, either.
I'll try the dampening. I don't want to lower the stregnth as that's the best thing about a DD wheel.
