    Hi,
i encountered a Problem with my CSL Pedals (connected by USB). After some laps driving, the max. % for the Throttle is going down to 90 or less percentage. Please read this too: with other Sims i dont have that problem, its with AMS2 only! Any advises, Ideas?

    Regards,
    Juergen

Max % going down? Never heard of that. You sure isn't dusty/dirty potentiometers? And are you sure it isn't TC being activated?

After that happened (again) yesterday, i fired up rFactor2 and guess what? Right, no problems, 100 % Throttle. And yes, Traction Control is activated, but that less 100% Throttle thing even happen standing in the box, too: Ignition, pressing Throttle, its sometimes 100% and sometimes 90% or less. The lowest i have encountered, was 72%. I`m a little bit lost with AMS2...

Have you tried deleting the controller settings and setting it up again?
If you go into options and use the calibrate pedals when this happens what happens?

    I will try this now,
It shows the latest used percentage and i cant replace that with a new calibration. I have to restart AMS2 to get that solved.

I have rechecked that, TC is deactivated (as all driving aids are deactivated).

Really strange. Never heard of it. Might it be you've set a max throttle deadzone in rFactor 2. Then in AMS2 there's ofcourse no max deadzone setting for full throttle, so it tops out, and it's dusty potentiometers.

Please set sensivity in AMS2 to 50 and deadzones to 0.
Also delete the file Michael3 said and bind everything over again and see how it goes.

    C:\Users\Jeurgen\Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\xxxxx\automobilista 2\profiles
    and then delete default.controllersettings.v1.03.sav
Or even better backup the whole AMS2-folder, delete the original and start anew with a fresh new folder after boot up of AMS2.

Same as before. After a couple of laps in a race, the Throttle percentage went down from 100 to 74. Had that with 4,5 and 6 laps. Could that be dependent to the number of times you reach the engine limiter?

Strange. Can you take screenshots or video? So if on a straight you reach lets say 200 kmh, and then couple of laps later you struggle with that? I still think its dirty potentiometers. Can you reinstall the driver?

Hi, i just want to repeat from my first Posting: with other Sims i dont have that problem, its with AMS2 only! ;-)
Yes, in the middle of a race, I was in P1 and had a 5 second lead, when suddenly the car behind me came closer and overtook me. After that I installed DashmeterPro on my tablet and noticed that after a few laps the accelerator pedal was only showing 74%. If I unplug the USB port and wait a few seconds, plug the USB back in, the accelerator is back at 100%

Even though I should know better, I took the accelerator pedal apart yesterday to clean it. There was nothing in there, no dirt, no dust, no hair, nothing. No driver should be able to limit the range of the potentiometer to 74%. I will check again to see if this has anything to do with the damage model. But thanks for your help so far.

    //Edit: and Merry Christmas ;-)

//Edit2: did 10 Laps with rF2, no single percentage lost on the Throttle, allways 100%...

I am afraid I can't do anything at this point. Might be hardware or software conflicting somewhere. Maybe Simhub? Last thing I can advice is to download AMS2 on another pc, attach your base + pedals and do a couple of rounds and verify if the pedals stay at 100%.
I've asked racingbuddies if they have experience something similar in AMS2.

    Hi,
OP, is this in multiplayer? Because I had an issue in 2021 where after a few laps in mp I would lose about 25% engine power.
I found me asking on the forum with no luck. I do remember it finally resolved, but I think it was a total uninstall/reinstall of Steam/AMS2. But I'm not sure.
It was right after a major ams2 update I remember.
    Good Luck and Merry Christmas!
I know it must be frustrating
