Anyone knows which setting controls the engine vibrations coming through the wheel when you sit in the pits? Especially on Fanatec gear the wheel is bouncing around like the car is about to explode, forcing you to tame the beast by holding the wheel firmly with both hands. Once you drive off it's fine and the problem disappears but this is particularly annoying if you just want to sit in the car and adjust something in the meantime (which happens a lot in simracing lol). I'm forced to always return to pits for any minor tweak as I want to use my Keyboard. Also with a VR headset on your snout it becomes even more annoying.

Someone complained about it on FB and posted a video, which can be seen here (his wheel rattling is even worse than mine):

My CSWv2 doesn't do that. I have DRI 0 if that helps.

Drift does that? That's normally related to how quickly you can recenter the wheel, shouldn't be related to engine vibrations. I think I have it on -5 which should be even lighter dampening than on 0

Drift -5 is actually the highest motor default damper setting on the CSL-Elite WB+.
Do you have a normal CSL-Elite WB? But it shouldn't feature a negative drift mode setting...maybe this description is outated, though.

Could you guys please post your FFB settings ingame and if possible your Fanatec wheel settings?

It looks like crazy oscillations. Is FX set to a very high value?

    Side note:
There will be a fix for an FFB bug in the next updates, that adresses some issues with hyperactive and weird FFB behaviour (like pulling to the left while braking and hopefully also the grainy 60s touring car feel).
Maybe it's also connected to that, but it would be helpful, if you guys could post your settings.

SEN AUT, FF 100, SHO OFF, ABS OFF, DRI -5, FOR 100, SPR OFF, DPR OFF and FEI 50.

Go down with Low Force Boost, or even deactivate it for a test.

Change Drift mode to 0 for a test. (Also recommended to do so by Reiza)

Otherwise maybe a full Automobilista 2 Documents Folder reset may help (just rename it or back it up, in case)

Cheers, going of my FB counterpart he tried all of that already with no effect but next time I boot the game up I'll give it a go just in case. It must be one nasty setting somewhere for sure, maybe in the files or something if we can't get rid of it with on wheel/FFB tweaking.

On my V2 I don't have negative numbers only 0 to 5 and if I go to 5 I can get my wheel spin full rotation in about a second and it hits the stops and spins back super fast and keeps doing this over and over til I stop it, this is all when unloaded so can imagine in game it would cause all sorts of vibrations.
It was just a quick thought and you are using a dampening mode anyway it seems.

Please also reduce/kill LFB for a test.

    This is definetly all strange.

Can confirm it's Low Force Boost that does it, I use 30 which I thought was low but it does cause the exessive engine vibrations on idle in some of the cars. I tried setting it to 0 and then the wheel was dead centre whilst sitting in the pits but ... without LFB the force feedback around the centre of my wheel feels limp when driving so it's not worth the sacrifice, feels way better with it on 30 :D

Guess I'll have to make the compromise for now.

Good to know, I get the same thing when sitting in the garage idling, the wheel what to oscillate / vibrate and go left and right. I think my lfb is on 18 from memory.
