FFB wheel not working now

I'm using a VNM FFB DD wheel. The wheel was working until the last AMS2(v1.3.4.0) update, still works in AC and F12021. However it is not working at all in AMS2. The wheel is detected, configured as legacy, calibrated, and even has the correct spring when in AMS2 configuration UI but when the race ui is loaded and the race starts the wheel locks up, that is, it acts like it is against the wheel stops...I can force it to turn but the wheels/steering is not affected by the turning of the wheel. If turned in the right direction the wheel will unlock and spin to the opposite stop and lock there and visa versa ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When this happens to me, I have to delete the controller settings file in the documents folder

 

what are the settings files called?

 

I'm away from my pc, but by memory, default.controller.settings or something like that. It's in documents/ams2
