Anyone else noticing that the mirrors appear drastically foggy (white layer) while racing in MP mode?
Perhaps, it's the lens flare effect from the sun, but the "white transparent layer" remains in place as the car rotates from the sun...

Is this like a really thick fog to the extent you cannot really see anything in the mirror? The group I race with report this from time to time. We haven't figured out any kind of correlation so far. On the occasions it has affected me, it's gone away when moving to the next session, but we have had some instances where people have reported it persisting

We believe it's either a mirror-bug, or the game tries to intimate foggy mirrors, but fails somehow, because it also appears during clear and warm weather

I've had this issue a lot since noticing it in December...

The only way I've found to get rid of it is to constantly load in and see if it's gone... Usually leaves after 1 or 2 tries...

Clearly it is not a feature trying to mimic fog, but rather a rendering bug.

With all the responses on this thread, it's clearly a common bug.

I used to get this a lot, and it only happens in multiplayer sessions and I believe has been reported in the bugs thread a few times (probably by me too, but it's been so long I can't remember). I've not played AMS2 for ages, but it was a Vega 56 it happened on, so I was wondering whether it's an AMD specific problem? (I now have a 4070 Ti, but only played AMS2 a few times and not done any multiplayer with it)

Some people who had this said leaving and re-joining a session fixed it for them, but that never worked for me. The only workaround I found was to map a "look back" button.

Just re-checked it in SP and MP, with and without enhanced mirrors. Either way, no fog in mirrors for me.

It appears to be random or perhaps on certain cars. It's a hard pattern to replicate consistently, making it harder to share this bug with the developers.

It used to be real common on the V10 Gen 2, but I couldn't get it to show up.

Guys, it happens in any mirror of any car. Actually, it is not "mirrors", but in any of the viewports. I got foggy "mirrors" in the McLaren (?) GT3 rear view camera inside the cockpit.

It is not related to a specific car, apparently.
