I understand David Perel (Coach Dave) and Jimmy Broadbent have mentioned they would be driving AMS2, in the near future. Coach Dave is yet to drive AMS2 (I believe) and Jimmy has given his opinion on previous versions of AMS2. Let's not lose focus on the topic (the two content creators driving AMS2) by dragging past irritation and offense by specific content creators, because one favors one sim over another, or negative remarks towards AMS2. It's not going to be helpful spouting off how you dislike Jimmy or don't think anything much, about Coach Dave. YouTube is here to stay, along with the positive and negative reviews from all. What I am interested in, is what suggestions would Devs (knowing specific aspects of AMS2 that require informing an user and or content creator to enhance their driving experience) give, either in an informative, yet brief Official Reiza video or something accessible for them to understand specifics that will assist them. Topics such as, default tire temps, default set-ups, (one thing I've noticed is that Track Default dates such as, Road Atlanta, defaults to the year the track was released and the date of the IMSA Petit Le Mans (August 12, 2024, I believe.) Default dates might be misunderstood as a default seasonal weather window that is the most appropriate for that track. I can admit that I've had AMS2 since early access, yet don't know all the specifics that enhance my driving experience. Hopefully, some transparency, and yet-to-be-fixed aspects of AMS2 can be suggested to Coach Dave and Jimmy, to help them, as well as new and seasoned AMS2 users. I hope other members can give an example of something that can assist them. This time of technology, can provide some good marketing. We've also have seen the other side of negative press. Each content creator has their own reason for creating such content. I'd like to hope such influence (big or small) is favorable for the remaining development of this sim racing title. Cheers, 50
Me and a few others always try and keep the AMS2 wiki up to date so finding information there would be a good start IMO
