Hi guys, I gotta say, I absolutely LOVE the Formula Reiza. One of my favorite sim cars of all time. However, like a few other F1 cars in this game, it has way too much grip. I'm able to take Eau Rouge flat out in most of them, which is unrealistic. Is there a way to adjust the grip level to make it more realistic?
If you want lower grip, reduce your wing settings and use that energy for acceleration, but you can surely attack Eau Rouge flat in the V8 era. Examples: Didn't found the Red Bull RB6 (F-Reiza) directly, but this car would certainly go comparable there, because of its extreme downforce package, even supported by blown diffuser and flex wings etc.
Damn you just shut me up son! haha Thanks for these videos, really cool stuff. For some reason I thought I F1 in 2014 so maybe the cars back then couldn't do it. Anyways, thank you!
@JPC The F-reiza is by a huge margin also my favorite in AMS2. And if you want to be forced to tiptoe through this Rouge thing then just (as said above) lower the wings. ByTheWay: Wasnt it in the 2010-2011 motor journalists began joking about that a F1 car would be able to drive upside down on the roof in a tunnel - exactly because of the huge downforce (and therefore grip) both wings and other downforce gadgets produced?
Oh man. Thanks for posting Buttons pole lap above. Because at the moment Im fighting very hard to up my position on the LB list on exactly this Spa layout. And watching Button its very satisfying to see that this guy is following exactly my ideal line round the track ByTheWay: Its also interesting to hear that they are scrapping some of the topspeed km in the engines rpm limiter on the end of the main straight - probably because they want more acceleration in the top gear on other sections of the lap. Hehe again just as me
