For a few days now I have had a freezing problem. For 3 to 5 seconds the screen freezes but the simulator continues running, due to the sound and the FFB. It occurs in both single player and multiplayer.
Did you change your installation disk ? For unknown reasons AMS2 and pCars2 access the disk during race (data for replay ?), and if your disk is slow you have freezes. I changed my installation from ssd to usb3 and had freezes of few seconds. I reinstall on ssd and the freezes have not disappeared but are in ms.
I've posted about this problem for months and no one had a solution. The only thing that stopped the freezing for me was to disconnect my PC wifi during a race.
I do not have WIFI. I am connected by cable. udp disabled. It happens to me since the last update. This bug makes automobilista2 unusable.
