This afternoon, I tried running a single race at Brands Hatch using the Formula Junior. During the practice session, every time the car went to manual control after leaving the pits, both front brakes were locked up. I tried exiting the session and re-entering and noticed a second strange thing... the single race would change the selected vehicle from my Formula Junior to a Chevy Cruze. I also tried quitting to desktop and restarting AMS2. Same thing... had to manually change from Chevy Cruze back to Formula Junior, then when exiting the pits, both fronts would be locked up. It also happened at Oulton Park and Buenes Aries, so it doesn't look to be track-specific. And it is happening with a few, but not all cars. Formula Trainer and the superkarts also have their fronts locked, but the F3 does not and it drives fine. Eventually I found that by keeping the throttle floored, I was able to get the Formula Junior to move to a rumble strip, where it released the brakes and I was able to drive fine for the rest of the session. Then when the race started (standing start) the front brakes were locked again. Any ideas what might be happening here?
have u got any solutions? i have same problem, i tryed cleaning my pedals and unstalin ghub but it doesnt work
I realize that this is an older post, but I'm having the exact same issue. I've deleted the my documents\ams2 folder, and still am having the same issues. Thus far, this is happening in the Forumla Jr, Formula Trainer Advanced, Formula Vee. It seems to be independent from track, having it happen on any track I try to race on. Furthermore, looking at the telemetry, the game isn't receiving brake input from any of my input devices as shown in the readout below the speedometer graphic. Anybody have a solution? I'm on the latest build v1.5.3.5. Whatever's going on has made these cars undriveable. :/
