Front brakes locking on

Hi
Has anybody else experienced the front brakes being locked on?

I have started experiencing this coming out of the garage for the first time and/or being on the grid at the start of a race.

There is no indicator that the brakes are applied and you only know about it when you put the foot down and nothing happens!

Using Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate with smartcontrol upgrade

 

I have heard this before, but I don't remember how you could fix it sorry

 

Trying lowering brake pressure I find default at 90 to high I drop it to 76 in vehicle setups also change brake bias more to the rear

You misunderstand it is not whilst using brake - its exiting garage or starting a race - brakes are logged on with out any input from me

 

Do you have something mapped to extra brake?

 

Ah sorry misread on phone lol does your brake calibration work properly?

 

I have had this issue. The fix is increasing the brake pedal dead zone to 10 in the game control settings.

 

Yes, I can confirm BUT brakes are released immediately after I "prepare" to move (on throttle and/or brake to release)

 

throttle application doesn't work for me - well it moves forward with some momentous wheel spin , at which point front of grid becomes the back of the pack

yep calibration is fine

I will have a look at this and/or look at the Heusinkveld software

 

This is the winning number - added a small dead zone (didnt need 10) and so far the issue has gone away .
