Since the last update the game crashes at random points. online, offline, hot lap, practice, race anything. Just tonight it's crashed 4 times. Over the w/end, it crashed over 30 times. Only seems to do it as its trying to load the game, or into a session, but still random. I've updated all drivers etc as normal, but still crashes . Never had a single issue before the last update. My online stats have been smashed cuz of this issue...... im at a loss!!
I don't have any crashes... Are you running out of storage space? out of RAM? Perhaps, look at your Windows Event Viewer and find the exact time of your crashes to find what errors are happening at that time. You are not providing enough information about your system (Windows version, graphic card, hard drive capacity, etc...) to allow anyone to help...
Do you get a BugSplat report? If so, clock back the CPU or increase its voltage a tick. I had an otherwise stable OC at one point that generated a lot of BugSplats for AMS2 only.
A friend of mine had the same problems recently, initially n only two games, AMS2 and Conan Exiles. In the end it turned out that the Memory Controller was dying slowly. Only a replacement could solve that, If your hardware is older then 10 years, chances are high it's already failing, to the point where it can't compensate the loss in some applications.
you shouldn't play AMS2 with a 10 years old PC. But a slowly increasing hardware fault could always be the reason. Thats why everyone should add her/his specs in the signature.
seeing i know theres no issue with ram/storage/cpu/gpu/age of my rig etc, etc i looked into this a lil further. for now, its now holding firm thanks for the heads up
Yes, I also remember when I often had the game solved after the update, but then it fixed itself after a couple of days. Try to write about it to support. Maybe they will help you because if you have been doing this for a long time, you need to act. Still, I think that support will be able to help you, so don't worry so much. While I was having problems with the game, I was playing Diablo 2 Resurrected then. I wasn't particularly worried about my crashes, haha. Especially since I could find the scarab shell boots that I needed, these unique boots are one of the best and rarest items.
I had the bugsplat recently and some crashes .. tried to push a bit more my devoted 1080ti .. I revert back the previous stable setup for my GPU and problem is gone
