Game crashing to desktop in VR in multiplayer

    A few of our discord members have reported this issue tonight.
    In VR, go to multiplayer, and the game shuts down with a bug splat while refreshing servers.

    Tried bet steam VR etc, still same.

    Game works fine single player.
    Have verified files

    Getting the same, so not related to VR, as I currently use triples.

    Same here. I got an invite and that worked, but searching for an open lobby crashes to desktop.
    I also tried with my monitor and got the same results. (so not just VR)

    Tried my old rig and got the same results.

    With bootfiles activated for the mods my game works without issue, when i deactivate the bootfiles, game crashes, activated bootfiles again, game works without issues

    Probably modded files/lobby's interfering with those who don't have mods?

    Sure is. Hopefully Gian knows what up. I am verifying cache, just in case. Already tried a new mydocuments folder, but same crash. It's either communication between game and steam, or modded files. or so. So probably no MP AMS 2 for me tonight. So I need to change plans, perhaps.

    invites seem to work, so people can still invite you to a server

    I did test yesterday after the report internally. Could join without issues on my VR system. What track/car combo did you use? Will give it another try on the same conditions to validate.

    Well, personally for me it was the following:

    Boot up the game
    Press multiplayer
    Servers loading
    Crash
    Bugplat.

    Did it a couple of time, but every time the same step. I might believe there was a misscommunication between AMS 2 and Steam. Or perhaps it was laying deeper and it was mod-conflicting with the loading resulting in a crash because the game doesn't recognize it as I don't have mods installed.

    Yeah, with the mod bootfiles enabled i didn't have the issue, and without the bootfiles i had the issue, maybe that points you in the right direction @Frederick Alonso

    Issue for almost everyone on the Club50 server.
    The members use a variety of hardware, plugins, and telemetry tools from absolutely nothing added to VR to motion rigs, to Crew Chief, to SimHub etc etc etc.
    Everyone had the BugSplat issue when trying to join multiplayer.
    I also had this but also had bug-splat at start-up which was fine after switching audio devices (GoXLR). However, clicking on multiplayer crashed four in five times.
    Using an unmodded copy or with mods made no difference to the frequency of the crashes.
    Eventually most of us were able to join the server and run a full three hour event.
    I sent all bug-splat reports in the hope it will help.

    My developer head is telling me the "audio" crash is unrelated but the common issue is listing the multiplayer servers.
