Whenever I load into a singleplayer race after the 1.6 update, the game gets 50% loaded, then crashes. Any explanations?
A coupe of things you can try: Verify the game files in Steam. You can also check for disk errors in your Windows event log. Sometimes you can see early signs of a disk failing in here, sometimes not. Try with a new profile. The safest way is to go to your Documents folder and rename the Automobilista 2 folder. The game will create a new one on start, and if you want to go back to your original one then you can just delete the new one and rename the old one back to the expected name.
Since 1.6 also experiencing several issues. * Lambo GT3 causing the game to hang with at maximum revs and the only way to fix it is to control-alt-delete out of the game. *Micro hangs where the game stops and teleports you forward. This happens multiple times. *In game menu hangs and requires a control-alt-delete to exit the hang. *Hangs on the menu loading screen. None of this was happening prior to 1.6
Any resolution to this issue - I am having the same problem in Single Race Mode - loading fails and crashes the game.???
Do you have any mods installed? If so, remove them. It might help isolate this if you guys specify the car/track combo you're using.
For me it's the Lambo GTS Evo (the free one). I love driving it but i'm getting so many audio issues, teleports and game crashes. I've managed a grand total of 4 laps tonight on Mosport, Silverstone 2001 and Road Atlanta. Had to control+alt+delete out of all three tracks and then restart my PC.
