Game doesn't work with Fanatec gear? I have Fanatec CSL elite wheel base (belt drive) and CSL elite pedals (old style). Spent 1 and 3/4 hours trying to get the game to recognize my wheel...it will not do it and only recognised accelerator pedal (no brake no clutch). I tried suggested values and custom inputs..no go. Amazed this game doesn't work with Fanatec hardware. My rig works in: iRacing, AC, ACC, F1, Dirt Rally 2, dirt 4, race room, and it even works in Rfactor2! (so I know what I'm doing) A shame would have liked to play this, but it doesn't work on anything except controller for me (no use) and I was running out of time to get a steam refund.

If you have a mixed setup choose custom wheel then assign stuff from there.

Did that. its in original text. I have now refunded through steam. So I guess this is "moot" now, would try again, if there were any clues as to how to make it work..maybe

So no suggestions as to how to get Fanatec to work with AMS2? I would be interested in re-purchasing if it could be made to work and I'm sure others might be in the same situation

I have the same problem. I bought AMS2 in November, and have basically not played it. I can't get it to recognize my wheel, pedals, and buttons at the same time. I've reinstalled drivers, reinstalled the game, tried custom, deleted controller settings folder. Nothing has worked. I once managed to get it to randomly recognize the wheel and pedals, got all excited jumped into a track, and it wouldn't recognize my shifters. I at least kind of got to experience it in automatic, but what a let down.

Went back to work trying to figure it out, and haven't managed to get it to work again. Right now I jumped on after patch thinking maybe it will work now. Can get my pedals to work, nothing else. And only under CSL Elite, not custom, nor CSL Elite Ps4 which is what my wheel actually is. I have never had this issue with any other game. Not ACC, not RaceRoom, not PC2 (though I hear it can happen there), not Wreckfest, nor Forza Horizon 5 (though that game has it's own issues with fanatec drivers/software). It just works when I fire them up.

Why is something this critical to this game hard at all? And I took too long trying to figure it out, so I can't do a Steam refund. I'm stuck with a game I can't play unless I use a controller, which I don't even do on Forza or Wreckfest.
