For the last few weeks when I load the game from Icon or from steam direct it loads the game minimized to the taskbar Every Time when I have the game set to run FULL SCREEN if I change to BORDERLESS it runs as normal. Is there a benefit to running Full screen over Borderless if so what should I do to fix this bug.
Used to be the case exclusive fullscreen was beneficial over borderless, less latency, played better with freesync/sync etc. With modern titles it's more down to preference. Some people prefer borderless if alt-tabbing a lot. For Ams2 specifically you could run a few laps in both modes and monitor things like fps, frame timing, latency etc. The game starting minimised may be more a steam/windows glitch. I've had it happen in Ams2 occasionally but not recently. More recently it happened with Stalker 2 for a few days then seemed to sort itself. P.s I always run fullscreen, but more out of habit than anything else.
