Game pausing itself when spinning or oversteering

Dear Everybody!
I really like AMS2 and I wish I was able to enjoy it a little bit more.
My issue is simple to describe, but I was never able to fix it myself:
When I spin or correct an oversteer in AMS2 (sometimes even if I moved the steering wheel too fast while cornering in a normal corner), the game pauses to menu by itself. It's not a freeze, it shows the pause menu.
Especially when doing tracks like Bathurst, where you have to tackle the corner aggressively, the game becomes unplayable.

I don't think it is a wheel or key binding issues...I have no idea how to solve this.

Is your mouse being moved by you fighting with your rig? You may be losing focus on AMS2 if this is the case.

 

My wheel rattles and turns the brake balance button sometimes during extreme moments. Perhaps that's what's happening?

If you have a button bound to pause bind it to something else. If the something else happens then that's your culprit.
