I just wanted to ask, there are a few things i don't like in AMS 2 and i was wondering if they have ever been discussed, or maybe if some of them are known and planned to be "addressed" 1. no flashing headlights 2. no rain light activation-deactivation like in ACC 3. When ignition is off car still has electrical power (steering wheel dash is still on etc..) 4. Start Engine works a bit weird i think. always in the same way no matter what the car is. Just hit the button once and wait for the car to start. 5. No TC1 and TC2 (at least in LMDh cars, haven't checked GT3s yet) 6. Too much exhaust flame, i would like to have the option to turn them completely off 7. VR performance is very bad in night or rain and completely dead in night and rain.
AFAIK there’s a button for it I’ve seen this happen I think it maybe was talked about to do what you say, but I don’t remember 100% How else should it be? That’s a complaint me and other have had about AMS2. We don’t know if or when it will be changed, but hopefully after V1.6 Why do you say it’s too much? Too much for you or unrealistic? I’ve heard of certain things you can do about optimisation. Check the other VR threads
This is such a problem hey, can go from 5ms to over 13ms on my 4090 and it all seems to be headlights and the related reflections. I know Reiza are working on limiting visible cars but I think we need limited headlights for less break in immersion, popping in and out cars really kills immersion.
There is a button to turn on or off headlights and also another button to turn on and off high beam (which are nice to have), but there is not a flashing headlight button like in real life. (push once flash 5-7 times and that's it). about start engine button, each car works differently. some you need to keep pressing the start engine button, others you need to also have the clutch pressed, others you just hit once and they almost instantly fire up. what i mean is that engine starter is not modelled as works in each car in real life. i mean, ok it's doesn't bother me that much, i was just wondering if it has been brought up to attention. About the exhaust flames, i think they are unrealistic. I get some may like them, that's why i said it would be nice to have the option to turn them off if someone wants to.
The problem with the high beam is that the driver in front of you can't see it, only you as the driver can see the cone of light, so it increases the immersion but the benefit of warning the driver in front is not there. The AI high beam is the only one that can be perceived. Please correct me if this is no longer the case.
