GTX 1080 8GB recognized as 4GB

Hi guys

I'm running on triples with a GTX 1080 ASUS 8GB with no fps issues. But I noticed that on configuration screen the video card is recognized with 4GB. Please find the image below, is there any way to the game recognizes all 8 GB?

 

Can a 32bit game use more then 4gb of Video Memory?

 

I was told the 4Gb patch was no longer needed, so my understanding is AMS now can.

 

With all the mods maybe AMS uses > 4GB.

 

i had understood that AMS can only use and max 4GB GPU (video ram) and also system ram was limited, don't remember how much but 8GB or 16GB? maybe Reiza can shed some light into this!

 

i think combined up to 4 GB

 

Must be an issue with the 32bit game.
My GTX980Ti has 6GB Ram also shows as 4GB, same as on your image.

 

My GTX960SC 2GB also shows as 4GB
