Hope you are all well and ready for 2021! I wish Reiza all of the luck because I think this company deserves it. I remember stumbling across "GameStockCar" back in... I don't remember lol... many years ago.. I was amazed at how great that game was, partly because it introduced me to something I had never heard of before (Brazilian stock car racing), but also because the feel of the game was better than anything I had found up to that point, and the championship modes were so much fun! Back then Reiza was smaller, but the developer always answered emails directly. I've been playing sim races off and on lately, trying all of the well known names. I decided today to try and support this great effort, so I bought the game with season pass from Steam. I'm very excited! I am an offline only player that prefers championships, but I understand this is a work in progress at this point. Here's to a great 2021 (hopefully) for Reiza and all of your customers/fans! Jeff
2012 or 2013 most likely I had it recommended to "me" by Empty Box back when I rediscovered simracing for me with the releases of the AC Early Access and the rF2 beta. This is the video: I've been a fan ever since. Merry Christmas, and here's to 2021! Or as we would say from where I'm from: "Frohe Weihnochtn und an guaten Rutsch ins neiche Joahr!"
Merry Christmas to you Jeff . I am also an offline player like yourself and have been keenly anticipating the introduction of custom championship mode . Hopefully this will be in the next update before Christmas . . . fingers crossed .
Welcome and thank you for sharing your story. We may come from different countries and walks of life but we also share a similar background. happy holidays to all.
Thanks guys I just have a good feeling about this game and where it is going. Yes it was GSC2012! In the first version of the game, the races were 1 hour 50 minute races (so you could pit, etc.), and there was an update, then all races were 50 minutes.. I thought this was a bug, lol.. then they told me that the real life races were reduced in time so that they did not have to pit (if I remember correctly). That same update added the Mini Cooper which was really cool.
Releasing AMS 2 in Feb 2020 was the right choice. December 2019 was way too early. 3 Months seems short, but can be the turningpoint between making it or breaking it. Look at Cyberpunk 2077, for an example. 2021 going to be great. The layers are there, they only need to finetune and shape it up. Wish them a great new year. Hopefully without Covid soon. Personally I am kinda happy we are back in a lockdown again. Means I don't have to eat 3 days straight, lol. Just a brunch on Christmasday and a campfire on Newyearsday. Fine. Perfect.
