Has AI pit strategy improved in longer races?

    Has the AI pit stop strategy improved in longer races? Anything longer than a 1 hour race

    Been a few months since I've had time to get some racing in. Hoping to find some time soon. Previously the AI would pit too early and therefore pit too many times in longer races.

    @ijac See if you can help.
    Before the latest update V1.6.5.0, I simulated a full race in Buenos Aires with the V10 Gen1 (72 Laps) with consumption and tire wear in “Authentic” mode. With this race configuration, at least one refueling stop was required, even without setting a mandatory pit stop. The AIs stopped at random between laps 20 and 40 and made only one stop.

    I like long races and I think the AIs have been improving, but I'm still bothered by the fact that they suffer little from tire wear and even the weight of fuel (full tank), because their lap times are practically the same from the first to the last lap.
