After a long break from AMS due to work and life events, I start doing an offline karting championship season. After 3 races I've noticed quite a few problems: 1. The AI (I set it to 100%) all do decent laps in P&Q, and I really need to focus to get the pole position. If the track is totally new to me I end up low-mid pack. However, in the race session I can easily smoke the AI. They are consistently 2 or more seconds slower than me every lap, and it is just confusing why they are so slow. 2. The AI makes way too many mistakes. 3. The radio announcer is doing some weird stuff. I set the race session to be 20 min long, and the radio announcer keeps saying "one lap to go" when there are 2 laps needed to be done. This is very confusing. I've got used to it now so I just ignore him and keep track of laps to do on my own.
AI consistency with karts should be much improved in v1.4. Regarding the spotter, that´s another issue altogether - we´re aware of it though, will try to fix it too.
So far I've found that the spotter issue is frequent, but not constant. Not sure if it's really track-related, but I've noticed that on some tracks it seems to consistently never happen, while on others it happens like 75% of the time but still not always. Odd little bug, but minor.
