Good evening all!!! Hope i am doing correctly. I was looking for the file for the helmet camera overlay to do some modification on it (apply some sticker and darken the visor a bit) but i don't file any file related to it. Do someone know in which directory is the file? Many thanks to all the community!!!
Hello mate. I can't use reshade as i use OpenXR Toolkit. I have an i7 13700k RTX 2080ti and 64gb ram I use OpenXr at 1620x(whatever in proportion) as resolution and everything on performance on the windows mixed reality setting. In game i got MSA at medium and only Reflection and Shadow at High, the rest is medium.
Amazing, so i can install reshade normally and then will run under OpenXr? So i see the filter window like on screen?
Many thanks! I think i understood how to do it, so after i select the game i have to chosse OpenXR instead of Direct X. But if there more steps yeah, some instructions would be nice!!! Thanks a lot
VR Helmet & Reverb G2 optimisations Race Department Link to files above. My first attempt at a Reshade Helmet Visor and tweaks for AMS2 and something nice for the reverb G2. It's an overlay, not 3D geometry so is very fast (compared the the Reiza one) but you get used to the flatish image after half a lap. Credit to other donors on the RD site for some of the artwork that I mashed into this first attempt a making it work in VR and the great developer of reshade and those who produce the shaders.!! Download Reshade Version 6.0.1 + Home I think I had to uninstall Openxr toolkit (leaving my settings) then installed Reshade with DirectX and OpenXR options, point it at AMS2AVX.exe Just accept the default shader set for now. Toolkit can be re-installed after and should pick up your settings again. My reshade preset also has a custom LUT file to correct the game colours for the Reverb G2 - you may want to undo any colour adjustments in Toolkit for best effect copy and replace the files The mask shows in the menu at the moment but can be turned off using the keyboard "Insert" key it will then only show up in VR once on track. Bonus ~~## ***Use at own risk - the Chromatic adjustment folder has a registry mod that adjusts the G2's image and tidy's up the sweetspot - looks amazing on mine and my buddy's I'll post the Photoshop files later so that someone with better graphics skill can have a go.
So you installed Latest Reshade with Directx and Openxr options? When you start AMS2 can you see reshade top right hand corner of your monitor you may have to hit the Home key
Yes, i have followed your instruction. So when i launch the game i am already with the headset so i dont see the monitor. When i try to start a race i see ablack screen on my headset. When i change window i see an error window saying"IVROverlay_027".... i Have no clue...
and you temporarily uninstalled toolkit before installing reshade.? It took me a number of tries to get it to work but my friend followed the instructions a worked first time. Try un install of RS and toolkit and re install RS with DX and OpenXR reboot don't put Toolkit back on until you have this working.
It looks like you are wearing a helmet in the vr headset. It moves with your head. With the weight of the headset you immediately get immersed thinking you have a helmet..
I have tried this morning to install reshade with dx12 and open VR... It crash as soon as I load a session and without Toolkit. So, I don't really know how to install that.
