Hello! I bought automobilista today to participate on the club races. However I am finding it very hard to make it work. The graphics gui (speed tires track map) dont match the videos I see on the web. Also, the track map is missing and only shows my purple dot. please see attached image. I am running AMD 290X windows 10 triple screen 3x wqhd thx
It only happens with triplescreen + Wideview option enabled. Even other overlay graphics get affected (rivatuner statistics for fps)
with rivatuner statistics capping the framerate at 60fps, the rame guns smoothly with triple screens. With the framerate cap at 144fps, the game stutters from 6ms to 40ms many times per second with triple screens. Not playable. With framerate cap at 100fps the stutters happens only once every 10 seconds or so. Mind you, I have a 144hz freesync monitor. Many problems with triplescreens.
not only the graphics stutter. With 144fps cap (or no cap = unlimited) the wheel force feedback also stutters. It seems everything is tied.
Triplescreen on this game is broken to me. Hot lapping runs fine. But with many cars on screen it runs bellow 20 fps with half a second long stutters. Incredible. Had to quit the club racing today..
ok found the solution to the massive stuttering. AA should be set to supersampling, not multisampling. The low FPS is another issue. With high settings, turns out a highly overclocked 290X + 5ghz i7 cannot go above 45fps with AA x4 on this game. Drop to AA 2x and it stays mostly above 60fps. cheers
After much testing yesterday, i have the following performance figures Interlagos + Super V8 20 AI drivers Standing on grid with all settings on "low" = ~45fps Standing on grid with textures high = ~35fps Standing on grid with track detail high = ~35fps standing on grid with track details and textures high = ~30fps Specs: i7 5Ghz AMD 290X Windows 10 Catalyst 15.11.1 6400x1400P resolution.
