Hey, all. I just got my new Simagic Alpha wheel, and i'm switching from a T300RS GT. This is the first time i actually use a DD. I have literally no clue what settings should i use in the SimPro manager (v 1.2.7), and in AMS 2. Does any Alpha owner have some settings that work well for you, that you can share, to get me started? With what i'm running now, i'm kinda underwhelmed, to be honest... Any help would be amazing.
I’m using the AMS pre set with a custom ffb profile Rfuktor. Very happy with the feel now. Normally I set the car to around 80% gain. I’m using the Alpha Mini and came from a T300.
Would you mind sharing the custom ffb profile with me? (you could copy-paste the content of the file here, no need to upload the file). With the default AMS_Sim profile in SimPro and Default or Default+ profile in AMS 2, i'm feeling the grip of the car better with my T300 than with my Alpha ... If it's not too much trouble, can you pls tell me the SimPro version and the Wheelbase firmware version that you are using?
I've got the Simagic Alpha as well. I'll attach a couple screenshots from SimPro Manager for you to see and also I am using rFuktor 5.0.1.3 to set the FF within the game (search it out on this forum). The feedback is incredible. I never thought another title could get this right, but Reiza has. Enjoy.
I have no excuse for being so late to this party, but this morning I think I had a tear in my eye as I raced wheel to wheel with the Classic Grand Prix cars on Imola 1972. I was in the Lotus 49C. It was glorious Memories of Grand Prix Legends came rushing back. I see now that I need to buy a ton of DLC. Our Simagic Alpha 15 Nm Direct Drive Wheels are perfect for this sim. Hats off to Reiza Studios for how they developed the Force Feedback well beyond what I remember in the Project Cars franchise. This title is a blast.
I'm loving the settings you gave me! You kinda just missed the boat with DLCs, the season pass was on sale during black friday. It's definitely the way to go when it comes to buying DLCs. Best bang for the buck by far, especially when on sale. My favourite cars to race are late 80s, early 90s cars, like Formula V12, or Formula Classic gen 3. My god, the grip on the gen 3... Also, give P3 cars a go, they're so much fun to manhandle around a track. Also, there's a bunch of lovely south American tracks that are just awesome, like Londrina, Guapore, Ecuador, Taruma...
Thanks. I missed Black Friday for my new VR Headset too. The Varjo Aero was $300 Off. I’m still in my HP Reverb until the wife lets me open the box for the Varjo at Christmas Can’t wait.
Could you also please share your settings from AMS 2.0 as well? The gain, low force boost, fx and menu spring strength? I messed around with mine in the past
All 0 except damper 10 friction 5. Max force 100 Then adjust slider, ingame 20-50 damping. Gain whatever you want, I put on 70-80, my father on 30-40... Fx i recommend low values.
