Because Im pretty sure have discovered what most of the "random" and irritating crashes in AMS2 is caused by. 1. The complete unstable save & encrypt 200+ setups files simultaneously when the user is inside garage. 2. When saving current/latest laptime while the car is on track. ByTheWay: Another indication that this pCars2 save & encrypt system has these unstable issues (also in the AMS2 incarnation) is if you watch the fps meter while into the garage (setups menu). Because while the fps meter on my own system does display about 85-95 fps while on track (LB mode) then the fps meter showns constant 56-58 fps while into the garage. And at the same time I can hear the g-card turbine going from normal level to near full speed. This is the complete opposite of what it should be - because inside the garage there is graphically not much load while on track there should be maximum load.
Further indications: How do I know that most on track crashes happens because the game is about saving current/latest laptime to disk? Because I can tell exactly where on the current track the "save laptime" crash allways happens - when it happens. Its allways on the same spot. As eksample on Brands GP its exactly ½ way around the track. Conserning the garage save/encrypt crash then a few updates back we all got a 100% mandatory crash if we dared to save or rename a setup. At least for me its obvious that Reiza didnt solve this problem - but instead they just sidestepped this probably basic Madness unstability that allready existed in the pCars2 save/encrypt algoritm. How do I know they just sidestepped this? Because its the same type save/encrypt crash that happens now(same situ) - just not 100% mandatory like before the mentioned update.
Actually I have been wondering if the game (or connection?) have become less unstable since I posted this. Because at least the latest week I have had no crashes. But I have still have a (maybe related?) issue that all of my LB laptimes are saved OK - but about 25% without the mandatory replay of the record. Hehe it looks a bit suspicious I guess because its only mine (and a few others) replays that is missing
