You may be asking: "Why these two years?" Well the second & final version of the Ostkurve chicane was introduced in 1992, as it remained for the 2001 layout, but the faster version of the third chicane was also still there. The third chicane was tightened up in 1994, meaning the 92-93 layouts were the only ones with these two chicane configurations. Formula HiTech makes this layout even more relevant in AMS2.
