Hi everyone, I just bought AMS1 and I wondering how to adjust the force feedback strength of each car, particularly while driving. I know how to set a global strength but I've noticed some cars have really strong ffb and bump around so I'd like to tune them to my liking. I have read about the 'realfeel' plugin and have tried it but I don't really understand what it is doing. I edited the .ini file so I hear voice feedback when changing settings but I don't know if this is the way ffb is supposed to be adjusted on a per car basis. In AC you can simply press the plus or minus keys to tune ffb. I was hoping for something similar in AMS 1. Can anyone offer some insight? Thanks, JoshOz.
I did find this link on Race Department which has helped but wondering if there's an easier way or maybe this is just how custom force feedback works in the original AMS with the 'realfeel' plugin. Anyway thought I'd share in case anyone else is wondering how it works. rFactor Better FFB Tutorial
Hi Peter, In the settings all I can find is a 'reset FFB' option that can be mapped to a key. No reference to plus or minus ffb which is what I was expecting. Maybe it doesn't exist anymore because of the 'realfeel' plugin??? JoshOz.
You can't change the game overall FFB gain, but per car you indeed can change things over realfeel, which is implemented in AMS1. These hotkeys work also for AMS1:
Thanks Peter, but yes, my original post is related to AMS 1. Thanks CrimsonEminence also for the 'RealFeel' reference sheet. It's not as simple as plus/minus on the keyboard but it does the job. Can now tune ffb for various cars which is great.
