Hi I have set the game to run in Oculus VR in Steam and launching from Steam it works fine, as does the quick launch from the taskbar near the clock. However, whenever I launch the game from the desktop icon it produced it launches in 2D mode. Is there a way to tell the shortcut to launch in Oculus VR? If so how? Thanks!
To open the game in VR create a link with format steam://launch/1066890/vr for using SteamVR or format steam://launch/1066890/othervr for using the alternative VR runtime. This link format is different than the one used to open the game in 2D, which is steam://rungameid/1066890.
