How-to: AMS and ReShade

​

Important! You use reshade for your own risk, if you doing something wrong, game will be crash SweetFX looks with AMS very good. I m using reshade only for screenshots!! with DOF effect, its not for gameplay (kill fps)

1 Delete or Copy SweetFX folder, injector.ini, d3d9.fx, SweetFX_preset files from AMS folder (its not necessary, but sometimes game not start with reshade)
2 Download ReShade (ReShade Framework 2.0)
3 Unpack to any folder
4 Download preset and unpack ReShade\Presets
5 In AMS Config set Anti Aliasing to None
6 Start ReShade Assistant and add AMS.exe

7 Choose d3d9 and press Confirm

8 Go to Presets and add our preset AMSDof
9 Go to Profile Settings and set RESHADE_DEPTH_LINEARIZATION to 0
10 Done! Now start AMS. If You see this, its means all working good, press F10

11 Set keys for Free Cam

12 Go on track and make screens
13 On track press Scroll Lock (enable/disable FXAA and SMAA),F10 (enable/disable DOF) and Print Screen for screenshot

14 All screens in AMS folder (steamapps\common\Automobilista)

Delete Reshade: Go to Profile in ReShade Assistant and press -

In AC the textures are blurred and crawling

But got now the problem that my ingame hud disappeared, any solutions?

 

DynHUD requires d3d9.dll. If they are replaced with other versions (like ones that reshade installs) then DynHud is disabled

Is there any chance you could make a DOF preset where the cockpit is blurred but anything beyond is in focus?

 

Copy / Paste from steam, but hey ho:

See the last picture, the car in the foreground is not blurry, but the background is. For me, everything is equally blurry :/

Edit: AA was still on (despite me disabling it). After disabling it manually, it works now. Thank you Kosha

 

Hi dear racemen. I'm trying Realshade since a few days agò. After some problems, I 'm satisfied with few settings, and I'm speeking about race setting, not only for screenshot. No DOF , a good antialiasing and a little lens effect . Important is to delete all the setting in Nvidia control panel and nvidiaInspector. I had aliasing problem duo to this present settings.
I hope REIZA can try reshade to give as a graphic more modern without have too changements. I think that RRExperience have the same base engine, but use something like reshade. The problem is that obviously we lost a lot of fps. I'm on 980ti @1080 and have no problem. But is simply have a down in fps. Best regards
