How to set up Logitech G25/G27 with AMS ?

Hi,

Is there a guide/thread/post about properly configuring G25/G27 with AMS ?
If not, could someone help me out?
How do I set up the Logitech profiler and AMS options to work properly for the best experience ?

I have G25, but I think it's the same as G27...

P.S.
I've read the "How the FFB works" thread, but frankly, it's too complicated for a noob like me, I just want a solution that generally works the best and have some fun in game...

But there seems to be some kind of a problem with my Logitech Profiler.
I've set it up as per guide, but when I click on "Play Automobilista", nothing happens
Is there a known bug or something ?

EDIT:
forget it, I found the problem. For some reason, Profiler didn't find automobilista's executable, so I had to edit it in properties.
