You`re probably not opening the right hud file!
If i`m not mistaken, the HUD that comes with the G-Meter activated is the `Telemetry` one.
So open your Editor, go to File and locate the Telemetry folder:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista\Plugins\DynHUD\config\overlays\Telemetry"
Change all files (overlay.ini, overlay_RACE.ini) if you don`t it in any of the game sessions!

Not sure what you mean with which line.

You need to open the hud file (overlay.ini) with the Editor that comes with the game (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista\Plugins\DynHUD\editor\dynhud_editor.exe).
It will show a image with the widgets.

Just click on the widget and press the "Del" button to delete the widget. Then just save the file.

I know it's probably a stupid question ,but can i adjust the angle of the mirrors on the cars? , all seem to be angled to far out.
