I cant get Geforce Experience to work with AMS

Ive tried using one screen (disabling the others) turning SweetFX on and off. Nothing makes it work.

I boot another game and I see the green FPS counter appear straight away.


Im at a loss. Please advise

 

I don't know how to solve your Geforce problem, but if you need an FPS counter you can turn Geforce off and use ctrl-F in Automobilista.

 

Add an ams profile on your GeForce control center.

 

Yes that a handy function. I want to use Shadowplay for recording the game though.

I might have to stick with OBS.

Do you run AMS in windowed (borderless) mode or fullscreen? As far as i remember Shadowplay had problems with some games running in windowed mode. (...or was it fullscreen mode? Don't know exactly)

 

I run AMS on full screen and GeForce/Shadowplay works fine.
Using custom settings for AMS in GeForce control center is recommended, if you're running AMS in windowed mode you might have to go to Shadowplay settings and set it to record desktop.

 

Adding a profile to GFCP got it working.
