Something that could be real fun was if Reiza included one AI car that was running under the same physics as the player car. And then gave us the possibility to create TT setups for this special AI car. Showing up on a special AI TT Leaderboard. An AI TT LB for each individual car. And ofcourse just like in RL track days then such individual setups should be personal and hidden for other participants. UNTIL WE HAVE A WINNER. Because the target should be to use the best/fastest setups as Reizas new officially published default setups. Later shared by Reiza as the new default in every class. As example shared every month. ByTheWay: My guess is that such a new setup competition would get some interest from people both inside and outside AMS2. Because no other racing sim has such a setup challenge - at the moment.
But the AI does a 5 lap stint to see that nothing goes bad since the default should be good for races too
If you cannot do the 1-2 tiny changes that makes a TT setup fit for a race then ... Most people able to create setups does know that. And does also know how easy and simple it is.
My aim beside the fun creating potientially public default setups is also that Reiza could use this special player physics AI as a testbed to experiment with more human like AI bots.
Hehe not that sneaky. But my main point is that we could all get better default setups offered because of such a user setup competition. And at the same time the setup specialists could feel that they payed something back to Reiza. But a 3rd advantage if Reiza succeded in creating an AI car using player physics then some of the weird behaviour of the AI bots could be overcome.
