If you could improve ONE thing in AMS what would it be?

We all know how much we have respect and love for Reiza and gsce and AMS. So this is no where a negative thread (before ppl think otherwise).

But if you could improve ONE thing in AMS what would it be? I tried to put in some major elements in the poll

 

I voted for Usability, but I must clarify. The menu system is great - no frills, very straightforward and fast - but I would like to be able to control it with my wheel,.like in Project Cars or even Grid Autosport. How hard can it be to implement that? (Before anyone asks: my rig sits in the middle of the TV room, far from my computer and from any table. Using a keyboard and/or a mouse is a chore.)

Can you add "Stop people starting dumb votes in the forums" to that list

 

Decided to go for "Grpahics" as it's the one thing that has control over increasing the playercount, but "online ranking server systems" was a damn close 2nd.

 

I do not think this is of much help for the devs, but anyway, I voted just for the heck of it.

Same here. Online rankings more than "improve" would really be "create", as only iRacing has something similar right?

I'd say it's all pretty much there in the road map, okay with that. I think Rezia17 could be the game changer if a new engine is deployed

 

I went for car content just because I feel the game lacks one major car to set it up as THE sim.......

I did think that the devs may see it as "pressure", but they should not. Just having some fun...

 

I voted for Online ranking servers systems.
I wanted to have a Grade System. Like Gran Turismo Series, I wanted put one "A" ou "SA" grade in my avatar. Or enter in server with high grade players.... That would be a dream

 

I only require one thing,Old Spa it would go great with the proposed 60's F1 car and the Retro's.Rfactor2 has a version and it's a real buzz.One mistake and your milking the cows.Other than that I'm perfectly happy.

 

I voted Usability, but I would also like to clarify.

I generally like the user interface and everything and have been used to it pretty much since the inception of the ISImotor engine. With AMS, it would just be the little things. I would like to have (even) more information about the cars an tracks, and I don't like that the track selection starts with the first item expanded but actuelly doesn't show the item itself, so you cannot minimize it without needing to scroll up once beforehand. Thats especially bothersome for me as my first track in the list is the Barcelona mod that comes with 10 or so variations. It's a little gripe I've also had with rFactor2.

But especially Assetto Corsa has a lot of little features and knick-knacks I grew to love.

Things like the FFB post processing, and I know the now automated FFBClip App is not official, but it exists and it is glorious! I like the in-game apps that let you easily create your own UI. If you use the correct hardware and settings, it also only allows of H-pattern shifting in cars that feature it, so you more or less need to use the correct tool. I like the freedom of POV placement and the "factory" setting for ABS & TC.

There are more of those things, but those are the ones that I miss in AMS compared to AC. But AMS is still in development, so who knows what the future will bring

 

I also voted Usability ,,,just for the wheel navigation ,,,,

I would also like the led's working in my fanatec rim but i guess we'll have to wait and see if the guys at Fanaleds add it in a future update.

 

Yeah guys this in no way forcing the devs. We all know the road map the devs know the road map this is a bit if fun and maybe slightly help reiza with the next title. But then I'm sure each of the guys know where ams exceeds and falls short?!

I voted audio, because I hope one day the "V6 turbo" sound in Formula Classic will be updated. If I'm not mistaken, F-Classic uses the original Formula Armaroli rFactor mod sounds (released in 2010)

I will love something like sim racing system or race2play for Reiza products, a web page like battlelog where you can register Reiza products, see all your stats and join races...
