If you have played other games, what options/Features would you wish AMS2 have?

I'm loving Automobilista 2 so far, the game is goated for sure. It has everything any enthusiastic to normal sim players want. I have played lots of sim titles apart from iRacing, and here are some features that I wish AMS2 could have:

1. Forza Motorsport has a Skip Lap Feature, in multiplayer and also in Time Trials, this feature is quite useful esp for long tracks, where u made the mistake but still have to complete the lap.
2. Lemans Ultimate's whole MFD feature and how its easy to operate during racing. ICM in AMS2 is quite good, but Lemans MFD is by far one of the best.
3. Ability to tune the car during lap (Pause Menu), a feature of Forza.
4. Lemans Ultimate's custom camera FOV controls which you can change all angles by the NUMPAD buttons on your keyboard.
5. Forza's Photomode allows u to press X button to focus which part of the image you want the camera to focus, and Test Drive unlimited's photomode where u can adjust time of the day.
6. Forza's Featured Multiplayer system, but this will require Reiza to host its own game servers.
7. Lemans Ultimate's Team System for multiplayer races.
8. Gran Turismos penalty system.
9. Forza has a chart when you change gearing, you can see what values are affecting your gear ratios by showing top speed, or each gear's top speed.
10. Forza's track limit indicator.

Proper multiscreen support

 

You should mention which game does this the best!

 

The option to just once in a race be able to drop a strategically placed banana skin.

 

Walkaround Mode like in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024; The ability to walk around the pits, cars would be a neat feature. Add in telemetry screens in the pits you can walk up to as well, so many possibilities.

Active Cockpits like in NKPro (and Flight Simulations); I find the whole lack of in cockpit switch flicking abilities in most/all simulators these days a real shame. The cars feel more alive when you're actively doing proper start up procedures, makes you feel more connected to the vehicle.

 

Is Group 5 a feature?

 

Single-machine hotseat multiplayer like in Geoff Crammond Grand Prix games.
We already have AI able to take over the player's car from the pits, taking it over on-track can't be that hard (maybe wait till the player is on a straight).
Really useful for viral marketing. My own case, my brother played F1GP on the Amiga at his friend's house, recommended we get it. The rest is history.
