Hi guys, We've recently been racing the Ginetta G40 GT5 in our league and noticed the fuel/lap estimation is completely incorrect. It always recommends much lower fuel levels than the actual amount of fuel needed for the races. Eg: For a 10 lap race, the recommendation after doing laps in Quali or Practice is 3-4 laps less than what is required depending on the track. I'm not sure if this is also an issue with other cars but it's definitely an issue with the Ginetta G40 GT5. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks!
I've noticed it with a few cars in the past (can't remember specifics) possibly including the G40, I always ensure I have 3-4 laps worth of spare fuel regardless. I've usually been 1 or 2 laps short if I don't.
yeh, sadly, you often have to like, follow the fuel usage over a lap during practice or qualifying. I feel like the fuel usage for the more modern (modern as in made for the game more recently, not modern as in chronologically of a time more recent) cars is more correct more of the time, but this is little consolation.
Yep, I don't remember it being this bad last year. In the past, after doing a few practice or quali laps, the fuel usage used to be a lot more accurate. Maybe add a liter or 2 of gas above what the game recommended was needed for the required number of laps. Ever since the new update, if you don't add 4-5 laps extra laps of fuel for a 20min race, you'll definitely run out. So I think something has broken with the new update.
